The main police fighter who arrested persecuted human rights lawyer Ding Jiaxi. Ding Jiaxi, one of the main activists of the New Citizens Movement, was formally arrested by the Linyi Public Security Bureau in June 2020, with the approval of the Linyi City Prosecutor's Office, on suspicion of inciting subversion of state power, and detained in the Linshu County Detention Center in Shandong Province. On April 10, 2023, the Chinese authorities sentenced this outstanding Chinese human rights lawyer to 12 years' imprisonment and three years' deprivation of political rights for "allegedly subverting state power.
